Which base takes which seat?

Every PIPA infant seat except the PIPA urbn fits both the original PIPA series base and the newer PIPA RELX base. Either base can be bought on its own as a spare. Nuna help article
The PIPA lite, PIPA lite lx and PIPA lite r have to be used with a base. They cannot be installed with the seat belt alone, so for taxis or travel you need to bring the base along. Nuna help article

When does the car seat expire?

The expiration date is on a label under the base or under the car seat itself. Nuna manual (PDF)
The white serial label, usually on the bottom of the product, shows the model number, the date of manufacture and the serial number. Nuna asks for a photo of it with warranty claims. Nuna help article

How do I hear about a recall?

To get recall notices, mail back the prepaid registration card attached to the seat pad, or send your details with the model number and manufacture date to Nuna. You can also call 1-855-NUNA-USA. Nuna manual (PDF)

Is a used one still under warranty?

Nuna's limited warranty does not cover damage from airline handling, products bought from an unauthorized retailer, or second owners. Nuna help article

How do I clean it?

PIPA seat fabrics can be machine washed on a delicate cycle in cold water with a mild detergent, then left to drip dry. Wash the harness with mild soap and water and let it air dry. Nuna help article

What does the warranty cover?

Most Nuna gear has a 2-year warranty from the purchase date. PIPA infant seats, bassinets, accessories and spare parts are covered differently. Nuna help article

Common Nuna problems and the maker's answers

1. The PIPA does not click straight onto the MIXX next frame; it needs the MIXX series ring adapter.
2. That ring adapter comes in the box with the stroller, so check the packaging before buying one.
