Compare the Pipa (original) with similar infant seats
The closest seats of the same kind by weight and price. Every figure is the maker's.
Flip out the angle adjustment foot under the base to recline it further.
If that is still not enough, put a tightly rolled towel or a pool noodle under the base instead.
Do not use the adjustment foot and a towel or noodle at the same time.
The angle is right once the bubble touches the line; it does not have to be centered on it.
You do not have to use the lower anchors if they are hard to reach.
Check both the car manual and the car seat manual to make sure that seating spot allows lower anchors.
If it still does not work, install the base with the car's seat belt instead.

Nuna points to the NHTSA guideline: a seat does not automatically need replacing after a minor crash.
It only counts as minor if all of these are true: the car could be driven away, the door nearest the seat was not damaged, nobody was hurt, the air bags did not go off, and the seat shows no visible damage.
Never keep using a seat after a moderate or severe crash.
Nuna has only limited spare parts, and orders are completed over the phone.
