Which base takes which seat?
- Liingo can also click into the Liing's base, but only after its LATCH Bin is taken off. Clek help article

- The Liing and Liingo fit the same stroller brands, so the same stroller adapters work for both. Clek help article

When does the car seat expire?
- On the Liing and Liingo, the date of manufacture and serial number are on the barcode label under the carrier. Clek help article
- Every Clek car seat expires 9 years after its date of manufacture. Clek help article
How do I hear about a recall?
- Register US Clek seats on the clekinc.com product registration form. You'll need the model number, serial number and date of manufacture from the registration card or the white label on the back of the seat. Clek product page
Care and warranty

How do I clean it?
- Liing's cover and newborn cushion can go in a front-loading washer on cold and gentle, then hang to dry. Never put the headrest in the washer. Clek help article
What does the warranty cover?
- Clek's standard limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from the original purchase. Clek product page
- Clek child seats bought on or after January 1, 2024 and made on or after January 1, 2023 are eligible for a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Clek product page
Common Clek problems and the maker's answers
- Clek says this can happen in rare cases in high humidity, mainly on seats made before May 19, 2019. It does not affect how safe the seat is.
- Check the date of manufacture on the underside of the carrier and the underside of the base.
- Clek's help article has a video showing how to free the carrier from the base.
- Once freed, install the carrier without the base, and contact Clek Customer Service with the dates, serial numbers and proof of purchase to ask for a replacement base.
- Find the harness adjuster tab: reach it through the slot sewn into the fabric between the adjuster strap and the crotch strap.
- Press the tab down and hold it.
- While holding it, pull the shoulder straps out toward you.

- A little side-to-side play between carrier and base is normal.
- Gently lift up on the carrier to check both base attachment bars are latched.
- Look at the release handle: it must not show red.
- If both checks pass, the movement is acceptable.
- A metal-on-metal sound over bumps is normal, according to Clek.
- The Liing base contains a lot of metal for strength, and that is what you hear.
- The Liing has a two-piece shell, so the outside can look more upright than the angle your baby actually sits at.
- To check, find the blue recline reference line on the side of the carrier.
- The angle is right when that line runs parallel to the ground.
