What you get, and which pieces go together.
Which base takes which seat?
- The LiteMax base takes only LiteMax and SafeMax infant seats. Evenflo help article
- A LiteMax infant seat clicks into both the LiteMax and the LiteMax DLX bases, so either one works as a spare base. Evenflo help article
- The Gold SensorSafe SecureMax smart infant seat needs the SecureMax base. The LiteMax base does not fit it. Evenflo help article
Used or passed down
Check these before the first ride.
When does the car seat expire?
- Most Evenflo car seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture. The all-in-one Symphony and the Transitions/Evolve 3-in-1 seats last 8 years. The seat's date-of-manufacture label tells you exactly when it expires. Evenflo help article
- The Shyft DualRide expires 6 years after it was made. The date of manufacture, model name and number are on two labels, one under the infant carrier and one under the base. Evenflo help article

- Most Evenflo padding can go in the washer cold on a delicate cycle, then dry on low heat for 10 minutes and finish air-drying. Check your manual for your model. Evenflo help article
